Description
Denis Vaillancourt invites you to explore the various issues involved in distributing experimental video works. This workshop is designed to provide an introduction to the various stages in the distribution of a work, from the festival circuit to other possible avenues.
- 4 hours of group training

This workshop will be given in French.

About the workshop leader:
Denis Vaillancourt
Denis Vaillancourt studied film, theater, and literature. One of his passions has always been writing. His short stories have been published in various literary magazines, along with a screenplay, a play and a first novel. He has since completed a second novel. He worked at Vidéographe from 1999 until his recent retirement in 2022, most recently as distribution coordinator. His main tasks included selecting works, programming them, and submitting them to festivals and events. Committed to promoting works at home and abroad, he has earned the trust and love of the artists represented by Vidéographe.
